The JRC Hellenic Culture group celebrates the beginning of the year 2019 by sharing the traditional Vasilopita (a sweet bread served in Greece on New Year’s Day).

Vasilopita is one of the most prominent Greek traditions on New Year’s Day. It is also known as the New Year’s Day cake, which contains a hidden coin which gives good luck to the recipient. The event took place at the JRC Clubhouse’s restaurant area in the evening of 30th January 2019 at 18.00. The cake was
prepared by the Clubhouse restaurant.
